Every blogger wants their site to be accepted by an ad network, especially the most popular one, Google Adsense, so they can start making money from it. Every piece of content we make is the result of a lot of hard work, and getting approval makes us want to do more. From my own experience, it wasn't easy, especially since I didn't know much about it besides how to make an account.

We know that Google Adsense is very strict about accepting new applications and that its rules are very scary. When I used to read articles about how to get accepted, I always thought that my blog was too big to run ads from Adsense.

If you're not sure if your blog will be accepted, I'll tell you in this post everything you need to do first that probably got me turned down, so you can look at your site before applying for the Google Adsense program.

New to Blog? Do These 5 Important Steps to Get Google Adsense Approval

Why Google Adsense?

We all know that Google Adsense is the most popular and oldest ad network that lets publishers make money from their online content. It uses a Pay Per Click system.

Google Adsense is what most of the Vloggers talk about today. They make content about how to get approved and how much they make, so those feedbacks pretty much speak for themselves when it comes to legitimacy. It has millions and millions of users who trust them.

But before YouTube became so popular, there were already a lot of  BLOGGERS who made all of their money from their blogs and Google Adsense. We can also reach our goal if we do our work the right way.

In this article, I will share to you the 5 things that your ultimate guide you before applying to Google Adsense.

1. Get a Top Leading Domain (TLD).

This is very important because if you have a free blog, you can apply for Google Adsense but it is very difficult to approved. I suggest that must have a self-hosted site or a premium upgrade blog.

With the right domain, you can get steady business. A domain name that sounds interesting will bring people to your website, which will lead to steady business. It also helps bring in a lot of customers who walk in. Your business becomes a brand when you have a domain name: A domain name makes sure that your business is known all over the world.

2. Choose Blogging Platform

Let’s find out what top level platform we will be using. The most controversial thoughts take place about wordpress and blogger. Some people say wordpress is the greatest platform of all CMS. Another group of people disregards their opinion saying self hosted blogger is above all. This is one of the toughest work of blog start up if you don’t know the exact comparison between these two. Most blogging newbies have trouble making the right choice.

It happens a lot because there are a lot of places to do it. The two we've talked about are the most important ones. So the question comes up: which platform is better, WordPress or Blogger? Well, we need a detailed look at how they differ so we can make the right choice.

If we quickly look around the Internet, we'll see that WordPress is the best platform for self hosting everywhere. In a post, the article on the wordpress blog shared the top blogging platforms one at a time also.

But let us consider that the blogger is the best thing about this platform is that it doesn't need hosting. The blogs will be given out for free from Google's servers. Only a domain name needs to be bought. So, more than anything else, this platform will cut your costs. Also, your blog will load faster than any other on Google.

Blogger blogs are made with HTML and CSS that are easy to understand. So, yes, you could change things to fit your needs. Since there is no programming language, you don't need to know how to code to do anything.

So it's up to you on what platform you want according to your need.

3.  Website Should be Easy to Navigate, It must have a user-friendly/premium and fast loading templates.

Blog sites that are poorly designed and hard for visitors to navigate and understand are most likely to get rejected by Google Adsense.

Websites are made so that information can be shared with others. Because of this, it's important to have a design blog that looks good and is easy on the eyes.

It’s important that you keep your user experience in mind when you create your business's website. You want the experience to be as seamless and streamlined as possible.

How can you create an easy-to-navigate website?

  • First it to make your navigation easy to find. Once a visitor is on your page, it should be easy for them to find the links they need to get where they want to go. They shouldn't have to look high and low for the information they want. You are running a website, not an Easter egg hunt. Make sure that your navigation bars and web design are easy to use and consistent so that you don't drive away your readers. The navigation bar should always be in the same place and have the same style, font, color, and type. This will help people find the next place to look for information on your site.
  • Second is to make your website simple. To enable visitors to easily move about your site means eschewing general terminology like “resources,” “tools” and “biography” in favor of obvious destinations like “news,” “podcasts,” or “about us.”

Additionally, overloading your navigation bar with too many buttons, bells, and whistles provides too many available options that may frustrate your online visitor.

Remember that less is more. Don’t overload either your navigational bar or your reader’s ability to absorb all the information and details.

Create an About page, Contact page, Privacy Policy page and Terms and Conditions

Creating your about page.

Even if you don't apply for Google Adsense, your site's About page is still very important. It might just say something about you and your blog, but with Adsense, it means getting to know your readers.

Contact Page

As part of having a good user experience blog site, it's important to give your readers more chances to talk to you and tell you how they feel about your blog. By making a page called "Contact," you show Google that you care about your readers and that they can reach you at any time.

Make sure to include your active email address, business phone number (if you have one), and links to your other social media accounts, like Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube, so that people can stay up-to-date on you. You should know that having a personal space online isn't as private as you thought it would be because your passion or hobby requires you to really put yourself out there.

Privacy policy

This is the most common reason a blog site gets turned down, and I think it was also the reason I got turned down the many times I tried.

Adsense requires that you have a page about your privacy. By doing this, you're showing Google that you mean business. You can see that it all comes back to the user experience because this page tells your readers what they will find on your blog and what they should and should not do.

Terms and conditions

A terms and conditions page isn't required by AdSense, nor is a disclaimer.

If you are a business, rather than an individual you might want to have a disclaimer, but it is not required by AdSense.  Also, if you use affiliate links in your website, you might (by law) require a disclaimer.  AdSense is not affiliate links, so if you only use AdSense and your AdSense account is personal, rather than a business one, then you probably don't need one.

4. Write some good number of high-quality contents with basic SEO

Having a high quality blog content is the most important thing which you can’t ignore. Think of this, you might be blogging for personal reasons– to share your experiences and interests online. But when it already involves monetization, you need to consider the user experience as well.

And that is writing a high-quality content!

Google loves blog sites that are not poorly-written. It has to have proper punctuation marks, paragraph spacing, long enough to read, less grammatical mistakes. It must also be unique, useful, informative, and provide value to the readers of your blog.

5. Always comply with Google Adsense policies

Again, the whole user experience is exactly what Google would look for on your site. If your pages don't have much or any original or meaningful content and have a bad user experience interface, like a badly designed blog and a menu that's hard to understand, there's a good chance that they will be rejected.

Once you've set everything up, this will speed up the verification process, and you'll have a fully approved Adsense account in no time.

Conclusions

I think you should have a self-hosted site or a premium upgrade blog, and if you use blogspot.com, you should buy a Top Leading Domain.

People who use the Internet tend to lose interest quickly. Always keep in mind why people are on your site. Every page your reader clicks on should give them more information and let them know where they are and why they are there. Using the same style to draw attention to a section will go a long way toward making sure your readers are happy with your navigation tools.

The most important thing you can't forget is to write good blog posts. Think about this: you might blog for personal reasons, to share your experiences and interests online. But when it comes to making money, you also need to think about how the user feels.
